Follow your passion

You can't have a rainbow without a little rain. Happiness is learning how to dance in the rain. That thing you do, after your day job, in your free time, too early in the morning, too late at night.  That thing you read about, write about, think about, in fact fantasise about.  That thing you do when you’re all alone and there’s no one to impress, nothing to prove, no money to be made, simply a passion to pursue.  That’s it.  That’s your thing.  That’s your heart, your guide.  That’s the thing you must, must do - Anon

I wish I could thank whoever wrote that quote.  How perfectly and simply does this sum things up.  Its always easy and reliable to take the "safe" options in life.  And how many people work at jobs they hate, doing things in life that means they die a little inside each day, chasing the "ideal" life that someone else, or society itself deems is appropriate.  We meet, get married, have kids, raise them till they meet someone, they get married, raise kids etc etc etc. Its always scary to embark on that path that fulfils you and feeds your soul, but sometimes you have to take that leap of faith and believe that anything is possible if YOU truly believe it is.  Who knows, you might just find the pot of gold under the rainbow!

My dream must be writing as it fits that definition. Great blog, Kylee.

How very true Kylee. Taking that first step is the hardest but having belief in yourself and your own capabilities helps make it easier. It will be an exciting journey and oh so rewarding. Wishing you every success.
